Biko Emotional Wellness Foundation (“BEWF,” “the Foundation,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides certain programs, resources, and services (as defined below) to you when you visit our website (“Website”), and access to, and use of, this Website and our programs and services are provided to you subject to your acceptance of and compliance with the following terms and conditions (“Terms”).

By using this Website, you acknowledge that you have read, accepted, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you will not be able to use this Website.

In addition, when participating in our programs or using our Services, you will be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to those programs or Services, which may be posted from time to time. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

Biko Emotional Wellness Foundation provides emotional wellness programs and resources to underserved individuals, including our Health & Wellness, Empowerment, and Education program tracks, and shares information about our work, impact, and ways to get involved through this Website (collectively, our “Services”). This Website also allows visitors to make donations, volunteer, or apply to partner with us in support of our mission. The provision of our programs and Services is subject to these Terms and to any program-specific guidelines provided to participants.

PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Biko Emotional Wellness Foundation (“BEWF”) collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from visitors (each, a “User”) of this website (“Site”).

•        To run a promotion, contest, survey, or other Site feature.

•        To send Users information they agreed to receive about topics we think will be of interest to them, such as program updates and impact stories.

•        To process donations and send confirmations. We use the email address provided to send a confirmation and receipt after a donation is made, and to respond to related inquiries or requests.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, unless BEWF agrees otherwise, any claim, dispute, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Services, this Website, these Terms, or the Privacy Policy, will be determined by final and binding arbitration to the exclusion of the courts, conducted on a simplified and expedited basis by one arbitrator pursuant to the applicable rules relating to commercial arbitration in the jurisdiction in which you reside on the date of the notice. The Biko Method, as used in Biko Emotional Wellness Foundation’s Health & Wellness, Empowerment, and Education programs, is a wellness-based approach designed to support emotional awareness, self-regulation, and personal growth by working with the subconscious mind to help resolve underlying emotional patterns. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, mental illness, or medical condition.

Our programs do not replace the care of licensed medical or mental health professionals. We do not provide psychotherapy, counseling, or medical advice. We do not encourage, advise, or suggest that participants alter or discontinue any medication or treatment plan prescribed by a licensed healthcare provider.

Any decisions regarding your physical or mental health should always be made in consultation with your qualified medical provider. Our programs are intended to be a complementary approach that can be used alongside existing medical and therapeutic practices, not as a substitute for them.
